Left Field Brewery are swinging by The Royal Cinema to present your favourite baseball movies, starting with the beloved children’s classic The Sandlot!

Summer may be over, but we’re still savouring the summer flavour with one of the best pastimes there is, baseball. The Sandlot follows the new kid in the neighbourhood, Smalls, who wants nothing more than to fit in, so he joins a local baseball team looking for a new player. The only problem is, Smalls has no idea how to play. The Sandlot is a touching and funny coming-of-age story, teaching generations of kids that its best to not judge a book by its cover, and things are not always as they seem.

Prior to the screening, Pitch Talks presents a Blue Jays Panel featuring beat writers, Laura Armstrong, Kaitlyn McGrath and Keegan Matheson, hosted by Ashley Docking.
