Get your sleeping bags ready, Toronto! If you are looking for the ultimate nostalgic weekend plan, a massive overnight celebration is taking over the South Core this Saturday night. An official, all-night public sleepover is coming to the downtown core to celebrate the golden era of Family Jr. On Saturday, October 31, WildBrain Headquarters (25 York St.) is transforming its commercial office space into a massive retro lounge complete with movie couches, sleeping bags, movie chairs, and a live DJ.

Starting at 6:00 PM and running all night long, you can legally sleep over inside the building to experience a non-stop loop of vintage network promos, classic commercial bumpers, and full cartoon marathons on giant venue screens. The screenings will feature 2016–2019 Family Jr. favorites like Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Teletubbies, and Topsy and Tim.

The event is entirely open to the public (specially tailored for those born in 2015 or later, with teens and supervising parents welcome). To keep your energy up through the AM hours, there is a hyper-specific 2016 retro menu featuring pizza, wings, Strawberry Cheerios, Mango Unicorn Frappes, and custom creations like Teddy Bear Toast and Apple Cookies, alongside a massive bar stocked with coffee, tea, and over 9 classic sodas. Parents will be supervising throughout the night, making it a safe, cozy, and completely unique way to spend the weekend.
