Summer may be winding down, but Downtown Markham is just heating up! From September 12–14, 2025, the Eastside Lot at 179 Enterprise Blvd will transform into a vibrant hub of mouth-watering eats, live music and family-friendly fun. Best of all? Admission is free!

Food lovers are in for a treat. This year’s lineup features some of Downtown Markham’s culinary gems, including the iconic Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the fresh and flavourful Poke Guys and buzzworthy newcomer Pears Restaurant.

But the food adventure doesn’t stop there—festival-goers can dive into authentic Japanese street food, savour the crispy delight of egg waffles, bite into Takoyaki and rice balls and enjoy everyone’s favourite potato skewers. Whether you’re a foodie looking for bold flavours or a family craving comfort eats, the Food Fest promises something for every palate.

Each evening, the festival comes alive with high-energy performances from local and international talent:

• Friday, September 12

 6:00–7:30 PM: DevoDLive – Toronto’s own DJ, host, and performance artist.

 8:00–10:30 PM: Lazo & Exodus – A soul-stirring Bob Marley tribute.

• Saturday, September 13

 Daytime: Hit Pop Dance & Live Show – Featuring Toma Dance Fashion Show, R.P.M Dance Crew, Zeekers Danz Studio, Carol Dance, and the MFFC Youth Choir.

 8:00–10:30 PM: Stoned and Rolling – A crowd-pleasing Rolling Stones tribute band.

• Sunday, September 14

 Afternoon: Hit Pop Dance with Reverie Dance Team.

 4:00–6:30 PM: Triple Play – A dynamic live band to close out the weekend.

Kids won’t be left out of the fun. The Kid Play Zone will be open on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14 (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM), offering activities such as bouncy castles and entertainment to keep the little ones busy while parents enjoy the food and music.
