PH1 Studios invites you to experience our encaustic art studio as part of Doors Open Toronto.

Located within the historic 401 Richmond, a restored early 20th-century tin lithography factory, the building now serves as a vibrant arts and culture hub in downtown Toronto. Home to over 140 artists, galleries, and cultural organizations, 401 Richmond offers a unique glimpse into the city's creative pulse .

Explore our creative space and view a selection of urban encaustic works, where traditional wax-based techniques meet modern cityscapes and textures.

We’re also offering complimentary button-making—stop by and push your own button to take home! Perfect for visitors of all ages.

Wander the building at your own pace or join a guided tour, visit open studios and galleries, enjoy refreshments from our licensed café, and take in the rooftop garden and inner courtyard.

Free, family-friendly, and open to all. We can’t wait to welcome you!
