The JAZZ.FM91 Sounds of Italy Piano Series is proud to feature Dino Rubino, whose dedication to both the piano and trumpet has brought him numerous awards.

After seeing master trumpet player Tom Harrell perform, Rubino abandoned his classical piano studies and began playing the trumpet, winning numerous awards. Through his love for both instruments, Dino obtained a degree in jazz piano and teaches jazz trumpet. Including a guest residency at the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris in the exhibition Les promesses de l’Art, he has performed in many festivals around the world.

The Sounds of Italy Concert Series is in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute & the Italian Consulate in Toronto.
