This will be the LAST Beautiful and Damned, sad but true. Please do come out so The Beautiful and the Damned may retire in a flush of joy and love. It's been a great poetry series - one of the original LGBTQ offerings - and has introduced many talents to the Toronto scene.

JP Larocque is not beautiful and definitely damned. A Toronto-based writer, director and performer, JP is a graduate of the UofTs Cinema Studies Institute, and a recent alumnus of the Bell Media Diverse Screenwriters Program. His award-winning web series GAY NERDS www.gaynerds.tv has received international press coverage and screened at numerous festivals, including the 2014 Inside Out LGBT Film Festival. His theatre credits include Mythmaking NIF, Alumnae Theatre, 2011, GAY NERDS Toronto Fringe, 2012, and Fear and Desire and the Whole Damn Thing Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, 2013. He is also a contributing journalist for Xtra! and can be found discussing his sex life or lack thereof as a panelist on the MTV/Logo series 1 Girl 5 Gays.

AMOEBA STARFISH is Phil Ogison, guitars and synths, and Jeff Howard, Edrums, Wavedrum and percussion/voice synths. Formed in 2009 the music could be described as Tribal Ambient Groove with elements of psychedelia, with a Jazz approach. This we call, Quantum Jazz. In physics, a quantum plural: quanta is the minimum amount of any physical entity involved in an interaction. Therefore, we play a measure of jazz, along with the other elements previously mentioned.
