Learn the magical art of cyanotype printing — a sun-powered photographic process that produces striking blue-and-white designs — in this cozy holiday workshop with artist Julie Agro, whose dreamy cyanotypes and paintings are currently featured at Loohoo.

Participants will explore the process of cyanotype printing using UV light, experiment on paper, and then create their very own wooden holiday ornament to take home (or gift to someone special!).

About the Artist

Julie Agro is a Toronto-based artist known for her bright, whimsical paintings and cyanotypes that blend light, texture, and dreamlike energy. Her work explores memory, place, and our connection to the natural world.

Julie’s dreamy cyanotypes and paintings are currently on display at Loohoo as part of her series The Bright Side — inspired by the light, texture, and natural beauty of High Park. Take some time to explore her work throughout the space, and maybe even bring home a little piece of High Park yourself. Each piece captures that quiet, sun-dappled feeling of nature in the city — the same energy you’ll be creating with in this workshop.
