Culinary Team Canada - Olympic Fundraiser
Culinary Team Canada represents Canada on the world culinary stage. Similar to the Winter and Summer Games, the Culinary Olympics (IKA) are held every 4 years.
The team members must fly in from all across Canada to practice every 6-8 weeks. Even with the support of sponsors, they still need to fundraise to help offset the costs of travel and food for each practice. Unlike sport, there is no Canadian Olympic Committee that supports this group of Olympians.
On Friday, October 20, Culinary Team Canada will be hosting a Journey to Gold fundraiser on from 6:30-9:30 at Cirillo’s Academy, 118 The Esplanade, Toronto. This will be the team’s last fundraising event before they compete at the IKA Culinary Olympics in February 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany.
Tickets are $100 and include a fundraising reception featuring delicious, one of a kind food stations, created and served by members of Culinary Team Canada.
