Crochet & Street Art at Gallery 1065
Come out and help liven up the neighbourhood!
Learn to crochet from scratch, brush up on your skills, or try new patterns. You’ll create your own yarn panels and help install them in the neighbourhood.
All materials are provided. This is a small-group workshop where we’ll turn fibre arts into collaborative public art. Feel free to bring your own yarn or hooks if you’d like — but we’ll have plenty of supplies.
Make something small with big impact
Fun craft meets neighbourhood beautification
All welcome — whether you’re brand new or ready to dive in hook-first

About the Artist
Shari Kasman is a Toronto-based writer and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the overlooked, the improvised, and the unofficial ways people reshape the city. Her practice includes photobooks, public art, and urban interventions like Bloordale Beach and spoof TTC signage. She is fascinated by pigeons and loves the absurd.
