Creativity Panel

Humber’s L Space Gallery is launching a new program for the 2014/2015 season and it’s all about creativity! The Gallery will be hosting moderated panel discussions which explore the various facets of creativity in our professional environment.

Start your day off right on Monday, October 20th from 9:30AM to 10:30AM as our panelists discuss the convergence of creativity and personal learning – Professional Development. Panelists for our first session include:

• Cameron Field, Detective Sergeant for Toronto Police Service

• Cynthia Good, Creative Book Publishing Director

• Tom Haxell, Event Coordinator for Humber’s Lakeshore Campus

• Viji Prakash, Postgraduate Business Placement Advisor at Humber.

• Doug Thomson, Criminal Justice Professor

The second session will be on December 1st from 9:30AM to 10:30AM and panelists will discuss how creativity facilitates, advances, and expands communication and collaboration. Panelists for this session include Bernie Monette, Program Coordinator of the Web Development Program, James Cullin, Associate Dean at the Business School, Kevin Brandon, Coordinator of the Graphic Design Advanced Diploma Program, Marcin Kedzior, Professor in the Master of Visual Studies Program, Melissa Gallo, Faculty Resources Person in the Centre for Teaching and Learning, and Lindsay Walker, Sustainability Manager for Humber College.

In each session, panelists will briefly talk about the topic and its effects on their professional role, which will then be followed by a question and answer period where audience members will be asked to continue the conversation. Best of all, its completely free and open to all!
