Cookstown Outddor Antique and Vintage Show
Heading outdoors - The Cookstown Antique and Vintage show
The Cookstown Antique and Vintage show, coming up May 23, takes place outdoors on a ten acre field. More than eighty dealers, 160-odd tables, on the grass at the Steam Show Grounds in Cookstown.
There's a special vibe around an outdoor antique show. In spacious surroundings, on grassy fields, dealers bring larger loads - lots more to see. The food trucks are cranking out their specialties. You can smell the onions frying! No question - strolling around a lovely outdoor venue is a great way to shop for antiques and vintage.
Trucks packed to the doors are coming from all parts of Ontario - including a dozen from Simcoe County - plus half a dozen from Quebec. This makes for real diversity - shoppers can find hundreds of categories of furniture and collectibles.
The Steam Show grounds are at 4635 Victoria St. W. in Cookstown. The show runs Saturday, May 23 from 8am until 4pm. Admission is $12, kids under 13 are free and on-site parking is also free.
