In celebration of its landmark 30th anniversary this May, the CONTACT Photography Festival proudly announces PICTURE THIS, the inaugural fundraising gala and auction taking place Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto (MOCA). This signature event marks a new chapter for North America’s largest photography festival, bringing together artists, partners, and cultural leaders for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, community, and support for the future of contemporary image-making.

The auction includes works by Sara Angelucci, Steven Beckly, Edward Burtynsky, Dana Claxton, Lynne Cohen, Jake Kimble, James Lahey, Suzy Lake, Ken Lum, Arnaud Maggs, Dawitt Petros, Shelley Niro, and Carrie Mae Weems, among many others. Proceeds will directly support CONTACT’s festival programming, including exhibition production, artist fees, commissions, and innovative public events, ensuring that CONTACT can continue to foster ambitious projects and meaningful engagement across Toronto and beyond. The evening’s auction will be hosted by Stephen Ranger, esteemed auctioneer, and longtime champion of the arts.
