CDP Presents: Summer Afterglow

Join together with new and old friends to celebrate the afterglow of a setting summer, let us rejoice in the fullness of summer and rising of fall.

Sandra Taylor will open and close our dance ritual with her warm melodic voice and blissful piano soundscapes. Flowing into a transformative Deejayed conscious dance party with DJ Jesse Scott.

10:30PM - 12:00AM Community gathering, ambient set, Superfood bar opens

Conscious Dance Parties are drug and alcohol free events, please do not consume these substances before coming to this event. Honour the sacredness of the space and the dance. No talking during the dance. All ages and abilities welcome. No dance experience required.

Host & Creative Director

Liz Diaz, also know as DJ Grace is a Spirit, Heart-Centered Holistic Healer, Life Coach, Movement Facilitator, founder and creator of Conscious Dance Parties.

Musical Guests:

Sandra's music has been likened to Kate Bush, Norah Jones, Sarah Mclachlan and Tori Amos, and her piano improvisations to Keith Jarrett. Sandra has been making music since she can remember and shares her heart through writing and performing. Sandra has released several independent recordings to date, including the single 'Stay With Me', 2011 her first album 'Stretch Out' 2007 and a 'Live at Musideum' recording 2012

Resident DJ:

Jesse Scott is a lifelong dancer and music voyager with roots in tribal and cosmic electronic music, and the melodic sounds of nature and breath. His musical journeys range from winding softly downstream to stomping with the thunder gods, covering a wide range of organic and electronic stylings.

Superfood Bar

Eve Schweichler is a Holistic Nutritionist and Permaculturist with a passion for food, healing and all of natures wonders. Her holistic cooking style focuses on plant-powered nutrition that is healing and sustainable both for people and for the Earth.

Eves company Heal thy Roots specializes in handcrafting healing, nourishing, sustainable & truly natural skin loving products.
