Singer-songwriter-composer, Albin de la Simone released four albums since 2003 and has toured extensively. He was nominated for a “Victoire de la Musique 2014” award as “Best Newcomer”.

Musician, starting in the middle of the 1990s, he gained valuable experience as a studio pianist as well as a stage performer, and even tried his hand at arranging or producing every now and then for a number of leading singers such as Miossec, Vanessa Paradis, Keren Ann, Arthur H, Alain Souchon, Raphael, Mathieu Boogaerts, Jean-Louis Aubert, Salif Keita, etc.

His new and fourth album, Un homme, could also have been entitled Un homme de l’ombre. Because, despite a certain charm, the French singer-songwriter’s discography remained confidential for nearly a decade. Always as a shadow, Albin de la Simone performs for others; these last few years, he brought his talents to a variety of artists such as Vanessa Paradis or Iggy Pop. The musician likes to remain anonymous and humble: “ I’m the result of those collaborations, I am made of those collaborations.
