Coming To America introduced by Kardinal Offishall

The laughs come thick and fast in this fabulous culture-clash comedy, which saw Eddie Murphy tackling a role significantly different from the street-smart-hustler parts that had made him a star.

Murphy plays a pampered African prince who, tired of having his entire life dictated to him by his controlling father (James Earl Jones), hightails it with his faithful aide (Arsenio Hall) to fend for himself — and find true love — on the mean streets of Queens.

In addition to their primary roles, Murphy and Hall flex their comedic muscles by also embodying a bewildering array of eccentric minor characters, à la Alec Guinness in Kind Hearts and Coronets.

Toronto hip-hop legend Kardinal Offishall joins us to introduce one of Murphy’s biggest hits.
