COME OUT AND VOTE - Nathan Miller Darkroom Exhibition

We live in a democracy, but I can sway that.

Hey all of y'all, as I've posted or mentioned before, my photographic work has been chosen for exhibition at 918 Bathurst as a part of the CONTACT photography festival.

The first portion of this consists of voting to proceed into the second exhibition.

It would be really easy if we could all just sit around in our underwear at home, drinking coffee and clicking VOTE, but it is an in-person voting type shindig.

918 Bathurst is located 2 minutes walking south of Bloor on Bathurst on the west side, central A F.

My cohorts and I will be at the gallery all day, with FREE BEER for those who choose to come support. limited

So I am encouraging you urging? summoning? to stop by 918 BATHURST at any point on APRIL 24TH to vote for one of my 3 works.

one of these next to the title of some apocalyptic type work from Nathan Miller.

If I get substantial solidarity here I would be featured in CONTACT; and that kind of exposure would be awesome.

Here are details from 918:

"The Preview Showcase and Celebration is the public's chance to choose the works to show in the two-week The Dark Room exhibition running from May 2-15, part of the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival. A jury of arts professionals will also be casting their votes. Artists selected for the two-week exhibition will be eligible for cash prizes and awards provided by our sponsors and partners. Awards will be presented at the closing reception on the evening of May 15th.

It's important to know that the artists advancing to the two-week preview will be chosen by votes by the public and by the jury, so the more people that attend our Preview, the more votes your work can receive, and the better chance you have to get a spot in The Dark Room 3.0 exhibition. "

Much emphasis on the CASH PRIZES portion of this.

$$$

If I won, I was thinking of giving back to you awesome people and throw a party with the funds.

So once again, I highly encourage you to come out and check out some amazing analog photography from over 50 artists in Toronto.

And to vote, because this is the only thing that separates us from a totalitarian dictatorship where we would all wear grey and worship an evil reptilian leader.

Thanks in advance, and I hope to see a lot of you on April 24th.
