Toronto is becoming a city of coffee, and for one weekend, we’re turning that idea into a real place.

Welcome to Coffee City — a coffee capital built across three floors of Design Exchange, where cafés, coffee shops, home brewing, workshops, competitions, and coffee lovers all come together under one roof.

You’re invited to wander the city, discover its landmarks, grab a cup, and see coffee from a few different angles. Explore cozy home setups, real café counters, and even an outdoor coffee corner. Upstairs, you can get hands-on with coffee through ticketed experiences, from cocktail-style drink workshops and guided latte art sessions to a Canadian roaster tasting where you can blend your own bag to take home.

At the heart of Coffee City, the Canadian National Latte Art Championship will take place live throughout all three days, bringing some of Canada’s best baristas together as they compete for the title and the chance to represent Canada on the world stage.
