Closing Weekend at the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show
On August 23rd and 24th, the curtain closes on Toronto Outdoor Picture Show’s 15th anniversary season with two beloved modern-day Shakespeare adaptations hitting the big screen at Christie Pits Park.
By popular demand, come out on Saturday, August 23rd for a bookend screening of Baz Luhrmann's ROMEO + JULIET, which opened our festival season to a packed audience back in June. Who doesn't love an encore!
On Sunday August 24th, lay your blanket on the hill for our audience-voted Closing Night Film, 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU. An adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, with peak nineties vibes and a killer soundtrack, it will be a closing night that you won't want to miss.
