Toronto-based clean|breaks fuses tight grooves, infectious funk, and rock-fueled energy into a vibrant instrumental sound. Guitarist Neil Hendry, drummer Tim Shia, and bassist Jordan Safer bring decades of stage experience from prestigious venues and festivals across Canada and beyond—with their recordings featured on radio airwaves around the world. Drawing on the locked-in legacy of The Meters, the urgency of The Fearless Flyers/Vulfpeck, and classic influences like Al Green, expect dance-inducing vibes all night long.

Each month, the band will be joined by a special guest vocalist in their second set.

An in-demand vocalist whose credits include performances and recordings with Arkells, collaborating with Elise LeGrow, and appearances alongside Chantal Kreviazuk, Keshia Chanté, Kreesha Turner, Anjulie, Tyler Shaw, and Digging Roots.

Sat July 25 – CHLOE WATKINSON

A powerhouse soul-rock vocalist who has performed at Roy Thomson Hall, Massey Hall, Dundas Square, and festivals across Canada and in the US and Europe, sharing stages with artists including Kim Mitchell and Jill Barber.
