ChiSeries Toronto presents: Alexandra Grigorescu, Kelly Robson and Matthew J. Trafford! Plus music from Kari Maareni!

Alexandra Grigorescu's first novel, Cauchemar, is a Southern gothic forthcoming from ECW Press in March 2015. She has a Master's in Creative Writing from U of T, and her work has appeared in Acta Victoriana, Echolocation, and the Hart House Review. She lives in Toronto with her husband and a little black cat.

Kelly Robson spent most of her teenage years hanging out at the drugstore waiting for new issues of Asimov's. She is a graduate of the Taos Toolbox writing workshop, where she studied with her heroes Connie Willis and Walter Jon Williams. Kellys first fiction sales appear this year at Clarkesworld, Tor.com, Asimov's Science Fiction, and in the anthology New Canadian Noir. She recently moved to Toronto after 22 years in Vancouver.

Matthew J. Trafford is the author of The Divinity Gene: Stories. His fiction has appeared in The Malahat Review and Matrix and has been anthologized widely, including in Darwins Bastards: Astounding Tales from Tomorrow. He has won the Far Horizons Award for Short Fiction and an honourable mention at the National Magazine Awards and has twice been shortlisted for the CBC Literary Prize. He lives in Toronto, where he works with Deaf college students.

Kari Maaren is a musician, writer, comics creator and all around gentleperson about town. Her CD, "Beowulf Pulled My Arm Off" is in its second printing.
