Chinese Collective Arts Association Lunar New Year Celebration
The Chinese Collective Arts Association (CCAA) will be once again hosting our annual Lunar New Year Celebration 2016 on Sunday February 7th, 2016 at Scarborough Civic Centre, located at 150 Borough Drive, Toronto.
CCAA is a non-profitable organization established since 2009. Our objective is to promote Chinese cultural arts to the community through engagements and events.
The event is supported by the City of Toronto and is FREE and open to the public.
This event will include activity booths open for participation from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, followed by
a variety show of performances, lion dance and eye-dotting ceremony, cultural dances, singing performances, entertaining games with prizes, and many more fun-filled activities from
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Government dignitaries and City Councillors will also be joining in this festive
celebration. And of course, the God of Fortune will be making a special appearance to greet
everyone with Lucky Red Pockets to fulfill a long-standing tradition!
