Celtic Music Night: Michael Darcy & The Atlantic Tramps w/ Loch Ontario

Join us for a brilliant night of Celtic music featuring Michael Darcy & The Atlantic Tramps alongside Loch Ontario. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door (while quantities last).

Michael Darcy packed up his guitar in 2010 to chase adventure on the other side of the Atlantic. Upon arriving in Toronto, he fell in with three like-minded musicians who would become 'The Atlantic Tramps'. From soulful ballads to roof-raising barnstormers, Michael Darcy & The Atlantic Tramps whisk their audiences up to the rafters and down to the roots.

Loch Ontario are making their own brew of Celtic music. The trio are comprised of Andy Sharp, Billy Boulet, and Chris Murray. Andy hails from Ireland and Scotland, depending on which side of his family he is speaking about. He brings in the folk element and the main singing voice of the group, as well as the guitar accompaniment. Billy is the piper of the group cracks the Scottish traditions of the Highlands and Lowlands. Chris, a reel traveler fiddler, grew up all over Canada and gives us a taste of the Cape Breton tradition.

Rivoli is one of Toronto's most legendary entertainment venues. Established in 1982, the club earned a reputation as the place to see the rising stars of music and comedy. Adele, Drake, Dave Grohl, and John Mayer are among the future superstars that have walked the Rivoli stage.
