Carve & Print: Custom Linocut Sketchbooks
Customize your own kraft cover sketchbook with a linocut print of your own creation!
In this workshop, you’ll be creating a custom Linocut image to print onto a sketchbook cover and fine art paper. Our instructor will guide attendees step-by-step through each stage of the process. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a unique sketchbook, fine art prints and the knowledge of how to set up a printmaking space at home. Beginners welcome.
You can create anything you wish; please bring your own photos, sketches and drawings for reference. We will be carving a 4 x 6 inch lino block, so your design needs to fit those dimensions.
Printmaking materials will be provided. We’ll also have Posca paint markers available for adding an extra punch of colour.
Making art can be messy, please dress for mess.
