Lunenburg-based painter Kirk Mechar will return to Toronto this September with an exhibition of exquisite and thoughtful new work that has evolved from his popular and innovative “flower patterns” series.

The show runs from September 15 to October 15, 2016 at Navillus Gallery in Yorkville.

The show will feature pieces ranging from small, still life works in oil to larger scale pieces that rely on Mechar’s unique blend of marble dust, oil, inks and acrylics. It was this combination of materials which saw him break out on the scene with last year’s stunning exhibition, “Beautiful Decay,” first introduced in the Caribbean in 2010.
