Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life

For 25 years, the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life has united a national community of people committed to providing support and hope to those living with and beyond cancer. At Relay For Life events, participants of all ages gather at a community space and take turns walking around a track or path to symbolize the perseverance and action needed to change the future of cancer.

Relay For Life brings together communities, united by the same goal of changing the future of cancer forever. These events are also an opportunity to celebrate those who are living with and beyond cancer and to honour and remember the loved ones we’ve lost. Many of the people involved in the planning of the event and who attend the event have been directly affected by cancer and share a strong bond with others who have been impacted by the disease.

Relay is a global movement to end cancer which is active in 34 countries and 6,000 communities worldwide.
