Camping Royale in Dufferin Grove's Farmers Market

CORPUS’ satirical show returns to Toronto! Bring your camping chairs and enjoy this playful work full of humour and theatrical invention. Laughter and surprises guaranteed.

Camping Royale is a satire on colonialism and the privileged class. It features Queen Sophie-Charlotte and Queen Louise (both lived in 18th century Europe – the former was queen of England, aunt to the latter who was queen of Prussia), embarking on an absurd camping trip, far away from court.

On July 17th at 4:30pm, Come unfurl your blankets and settle beneath the shade of the trees at Dufferin Grove Farmers’ Market, for a delightfully twisted performance, blending absurdity and enchantment. Free of charge!
