Have you ever wished you could make your own funky housewares, clothing or accessories? Or maybe you're a burlesque performer who wishes you had the tools to create your own personally branded merch to sell at shows and on your fan page.
Well look no further, our all inclusive workshop will teach you the skills of silkscreening from Toronto's most notable funky designer and silkscreen pro, Kingi Carpenter of Peach Berserk! Not only will we teach you the skills, but we will create your custom screen with the image of your choice, which you get to take home with you! That means you can continue to make funky items for your own home, and for performers, have the tools to make promotional merchandise over and over!
Included in Package:
-A T-shirt and a big pile of cute fabric
-All the printing ink you can use
-Print/ Dry area
-Instruction on how to print- t-shirts and a repeating design on fabric, and help through out the evening with your projects
-Student can bring as much stuff to print on as they like - clothes, pillowcases, tea towels, fabric, paper, ANYTHING!
-An instruction booklet, silk screening supplier list and your OWN screen to take home!!
- Any students who would like to sell the products they make during the event will be offered 1 month consignment with Rosie The Rebel to do so. terms will apply and product quality approved by management
Refreshments will be available during the event and a special surprise performance to end our workshop!
After you book your workshop, you will be contacted by Kingi Carpenter to send your images in advance of the event, and YOUR custom 11 by 17 screen will be waiting for you at the event. Be creative, design anything! Kingi is available to answer any questions about your image files:
