Bridgerton and Sound of Music-Inspired Waltz Lessons & Afternoon Dance Party
Ever wanted to step into a scene from Bridgerton or dance like you’re in The Sound of Music? This Saturday afternoon waltz event hosted by Waltz Toronto brings those iconic, romantic styles to life—no experience or partner required.
Learn the elegance and flow of traditional waltz as seen in Regency-era ballrooms and classic film scenes, including the charming Laendler (featured in The Sound of Music) and more recently Waltz in the style of the Bridgerton TV series. These beginner-friendly lessons are designed to be fun, relaxed, and easy to follow—perfect if you’ve never tried partner dancing before.
The afternoon starts with two engaging lessons, including the ever-popular cross-step waltz (known for its smooth, graceful feel), followed by a social dance where you can practice your new moves in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.
Whether you're a fan of period dramas, love vintage-inspired experiences, or just want a unique Saturday activity, this event offers a chance to dance, connect, and feel like you’ve stepped into another era.
