Breast Screening and Awareness Day for Black Communities
The Olive Branch of Hope and Scarborough Health Network are partnering to host a Breast Screening and Awareness Day, focused on getting the community screened and raising awareness, particularly for Black communities, who are disproportionately affected by breast cancer and benefit from focused, culturally-safe education on breast health.
All are welcome to join for a FREE community event dedicated to empowering women. You can schedule your mammogram for any time between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and enjoy refreshments and giveaways.
Not ready to schedule a mammogram, but interested in learning more about breast health? The three education sessions are at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. These have limited capacity and first priority will be given to those who have scheduled mammograms. Remaining spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
