Bossa nova night at the Annex: Steve Frise & Rochelle Bulmer
Steve & Rochelle are a Toronto based Jazz duo In the style of gypsy swing and 50’s-60’s bossa nova who blend the various guitar styles from Europe and Brazil with sultry vocals reminiscent of the classic American jazz vocalists Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Shirley Bassey.
Comprised of songwriter/vocalist Rochelle Bulmer and Canadian jazz guitarist Steve Frise the duo aims to incite feelings of passion and enchantment through a combination of classic latin jazz standards and original compositions.
