Over 150 years ago there was a revolution in Spanish winemaking. Heavily influenced by the Bordelais, Rioja producers transformed their methods to include long-term ageing – to fantastic results. Remarkably, there is probably no other wine region in the world with such large stocks of mature wines.

Established in 1861, Bodegas Faustino joined this new league of premium producers and today is one of the region’s best-known brands and one of the few that still release older vintages.
