Blockobana returns! We at Blockorama/ Blackness Yes are building towards a black Pride weekend and we are so excited to be expanding Blockobana this year to new areas and heights!

We began this celebration of queer and trans love in 2010 and we are thrilled to be back for another year!

We aim to spend the day celebrating Caribana weekend and the Caribbean and African diaspora! All are welcome!

Please feel free to bring picnic items, beverages non alcoholic and lime with us in the sun but please be aware that all trash must be cleared from the park before we leave and any help on that matter is appreciated.

we hope to keep growing blockobana as a corner stone to a queer caribana weekend.

RAINY DAY PLAN:

We have booked Ada Slaight Hall inside Daniel Spectrum which is HUGE in case of Rain. We got this covered!

We are grateful to the help of Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention Black CAP and Artscape Summer Series in acquiring the space and partnering with us. BlackCAP will be on hand the day of with information and more.
