In this beginner-friendly workshop learn how to identify common birds in High Park. Focusing on some of the park’s most frequently spotted species, you’ll learn to recognize key field marks and characteristics that can help you identify birds. We’ll also explore how to use eBird to track your sightings, find birding hotspots, and contribute to community science. The workshop combines classroom-style instruction with a guided walk through the park, giving you the chance to practice your new skills and observe birds in their natural habitat.
