About Peptides
A peptide is a sequence of 50 amino acids or less; it is a compound consisting of two or more amino acids linked in a chain, the carboxyl group of each acid being joined to the amino group of the next by a bond. Many peptides are naturally occurring in the human body, where they regulate various bodily functions at the cellular level. They can influence and upregulate sleep, cellular and tissue regeneration, skin properties, libido, length of telomeres, inflammation and infection response, healing of tissues, among many other functions.
