BETTER SLEEP: KUNDALINI YOGA WORKSHOP
Do you experience sleep issues on a continuous or semi-regular basis? You are not alone. Sleep deprivation has reached epidemic levels and leads to physical, cognitive and emotional health conditions.
In this workshop, you will learn Kundalini Yoga tools that will help you get a restful night’s sleep, and set you up to sustain healthy sleep habits. These tools will include simple postures, breathing exercises, and a vigorous yoga set, all specifically designed to help you sleep. Bir Kaur will also share her personal experience of balancing sleep needs while maintaining an early morning yoga practice. In addition to these classic Kundalini Yoga tools, Bir Kaur will be sharing information about sleep from the book, “The Sleep Revolution”, by Arianna Huffington. The class will end with a gentle gong relaxation.
Handouts will be provided with all of our yogic practices, so you can continue to practice nightly before bed. No prior experience is required, all are welcome.
