The Bentway Polar Bear Skate

Heard of the Polar Bear Dip? Well, what about a Polar Bear Skate?

Join The Bentway on December 30 at 2pm for our first ever PolarBear Skate.

A twist on the traditional polar bear dip, skaters will strip to their intimates and Skate the 8 in their knickers! All pre-registrants receive a free hot chocolate and a chance to win a special Bentway prize pack.

Registration begins at 1:30pm. Please make your way to the yellow Bentway registration tent next to the Skate Trail to check in and receive further instructions.

Last-minute registrations will be accepted on the day of the event.

All participants must sign a waiver before taking part in the Polar Bear Skate.

FAQs

Where is the Skate Trail located? 

We are located under the Gardiner Expressway right beside the Fort York Visitor Centre (250 Fort York Boulevard) between Strachan Ave & Bathurst St – stretching just east of the Visitor Centre to Bastion St.

Is there parking available? 

There is a Green P parking lot at 800 Fleet St.

Is it free? 

Yes, just bring your skates and you're good to go. If you don't have skates, we have rentals onsite. For more information on sizes and cost, please visit our website
