Bengal Kitten Yoga in Hamilton/Grimsby

Welcome to Bengal Kitten Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Hamilton/Grimsby. This is an hour of gentle, beginner-friendly yoga shared with real live Bengal kittens roaming freely around the room. No previous yoga experience needed. No agenda other than showing up and letting the morning do its thing.

Bengals are a lot. In the best possible way. They are curious, confident, and built like tiny leopards. They will climb onto your mat, investigate your water bottle, and decide mid-pose that your shoulder is a perfectly reasonable place to sit. The energy in the room shifts the moment they arrive.

Here's how the hour breaks down:

35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga

20 minutes of connection and cuddle time with the kittens

5 minutes of sharing circle

Why people keep coming back

Kitten yoga has a way of making the room soften. Someone is always mid-warrior-two when a Bengal decides to headbutt their ankle, and suddenly the whole class is laughing and breathing and not thinking about the week ahead. A kitten purrs against your leg and your nervous system just... exhales. That combination of gentle movement and genuine animal connection is hard to replicate anywhere else.

A note on Bengal kittens

Bengals are one of the most active and inquisitive domestic cat breeds around. They are highly social, love to explore, and tend to be fearless in new environments. Expect a lot of movement, a lot of eye contact, and at least one kitten who treats the entire studio as their personal obstacle course. They are affectionate on their own terms, which makes the moments they choose to curl up with you feel genuinely earned.

Kids are welcome. This is a family-friendly session. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome to attend. Anyone under 18 must come with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the kittens with care.

Mats provided. No experience needed. Come as you are, leave a little softer.
