#beethankful HONEY BEES PIE SHOP IS COMING TO TORONTO FOR ONE DAY ONLY

During this season of harvest and thanksgiving, Bees Matter invites Canadians to celebrate the important role honey bees play in Canadian food production by savouring the foods they help pollinate.

Serving up apple, blueberry and, of course, pumpkin pies, Honey Bees Pie Shop is working with local baker The Rolling Pin to craft these free, mini pies that will be on offer from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or while quantities last.

Learn about the role pollinators like honey bees play in Canadian food production. One in every three bites of food we eat is made possible by pollinators like honey bees, including apples, blueberries and pumpkins.

Understand more about how Canadian farmers and beekeepers work together to help ensure strong and healthy honey bee hives, which is an important factor in the production of many nutritious foods Canadians love to eat.
