Beauty Is Varied - Malinda Prud'homme's Solo Exhibition

You’re invited to Toronto Portrait Artist Malinda Prud’homme’s Solo Art Exhibition “Beauty Is Varied” taking place at Gallery 50, off Queen Street West, at 50 Gladstone Ave, Toronto, ON M6J 3K6 (416-535-6957). The main gallery will be filled with Malinda’s colourful visions of female beauty from November 16th to 20th 2016.

With this exhibition Malinda hopes to express that ALL women are beautiful regardless of age, size, ethnicity, or personal style. By depicting a variety of women from all walks of life, the artist endeavors to prove that each woman is uniquely beautiful in her own way. In order to add something NEW to her message she is creating (see updates on Social Media) new work that celebrates the beauty of women when they're being "Cheeky". More often than not, women in the media are portrayed with serious expressions, sexy smirks, and soft smiles. But there is something incredibly radiant about a woman being goofy or quirky. Malinda’s greatest wish is that her work influences women to, not only see how beautiful other women are, but how truly beautiful they are as well.

Malinda Prud’homme, originally from Sudbury, ON, has been working full-time in Toronto’s Art & Design District for the past four years. She’s achieved much in her short career including exhibiting her work overseas and selling her paintings all over the world. Being a talented portrait artist, with a unique style that is both soft and bold all at once, she busily works on commission requests while building her portfolio of original work. Four NEW artworks will be revealed during this exhibition!

Be sure to drop by the Closing Reception on Saturday November 19th, 7PM-10PM. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary wine & snacks while viewing Malinda's painted portraits up close and personal. :)
