Get ready for Barkham Festival 2026, taking place this weekend on June 13 & 14 on the historic 25-acres of Markham Museum, just next door to Toronto. Building on an 8K attendance record in 2025, Markham Dog Alliance is expanding the attraction lineup with some exciting and unique experiences for dogs and dog pawrents alike. Highlights include:

- Paws-itively Ever-After Wedding Photos - complete with a professional photographer, wedding attire, floral arrangements, bonbonnieres, and doggy wedding cake. Markham's Mayor, Frank Scarpitti, will also be on hand to kick off the wedding festivities on Saturday at 1:30 PM.

- York Region's first human-friendly dog café taking dog treats to the next level with Strawberry Muttcha, Howljicha and Bone-offee Pie pup-cups, Hong Kong-style egg tarts, Italian cannolis, and much more.

- Doggy Pawlympics - high-speed lure coursing, Sniffscape® challenges and agility competitions.

- Over 100 local and out-of-province vendors will be selling pet-focused products from every category under the sun.

- Appearances from pupfluencer, Undercover Dachshund / Rich Lunchford and Paw Patrol, spreading joy in person.
