ATTACKING THE STAGE: Improv Comedy Workshop with Wayne Jones will provide the instruction and advice you need to generate incredible performances. It will focus on group work and personalized instruction to help cultivate your dynamic ability. The workshop is open to all levels of improviser, from beginner to advanced. Everyone will receive the tools they need for success!

About the Instructor:

Wayne Jones is an improviser, entertainer and entrepreneur living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Wayne is the founder of White Rhino Comedy, the critically-acclaimed improv show and company. Wayne currently performs as an improviser, host, MC, comedian, actor and more, in both Toronto, and across Canada. Wayne recently performed as a duo with Colin Mochrie at a sold-out event in Edmonton, Canada. Wayne performs as a regular guest on the Canadian Comedy Award winning improv show Die-Nasty: The Live Legendary Improvised Soap Opera. Wayne features as a guest with Second City Toronto, Rapid Fire Theatre in Edmonton, and performs, produces and curates countless other shows. He is the co-founder of Let the Music Play, a student-based show currently running at the Second City in Toronto. Wayne produced Stage Time with Wayne Jones, an audience participation variety show in both Toronto and Chicago from 2012-2014. Wayne has taught improv at the UOIT and Durham College in Ontario. He has taught improv workshops to at-risk youth, and has also been an improv consultant for a feature film. Wayne received training in improvisation at the Second City Toronto, as well as the Annoyance Theatre and Improv Olympic in Toronto. Wayne has trained in teaching improv at Improv Olympic in Chicago. Wayne has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton.
