This art class is dedicated to fundamental art skills and their relationships to the real world, including perspective, light, colour, and spatial qualities. Taught by an artist with a master’s degree in architecture and extensive background in multimedia, this course will provide insight into an audience's perceptions of art and culture. Using varying mediums each week, you’ll explore new ways of thinking while filling a creative sketchbook, drawing and painting in class, and if your time permits - a term project assigned as “homework” that you can gain feedback from the instructor or group critique. *This course is not a drop-off scenario, it is to encourage art-making with friends and family on a weekly basis Every child under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
