Aron, Ann & Dr. Vink's Ultimate Art Show Celebration
82-year old visual artist & actor Aron Tager, perhaps most known for playing Dr. Vink on 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark?' and his parts in Serendipity & X-Men, is in a peculiar position.
Aron, along with his theatrically-inclined wife Ann, are being required to make their charming Toronto home of over twenty years available for sale. Their landlord recently gave them notice, and they don’t have long to find a new place. On top of that, no place in Toronto is big and affordable enough for them to house Aron's 60+ years of artwork!
The time has come for a huge fundraiser. This is a sale of Aron’s incredible life’s work, and a chance to celebrate with his dear fans & friends, a home that has seen Aron & Ann through over twenty years of marriage & creative exploits. You will never find his work, much of which should be hanging in the finest galleries, at these prices again. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience *not to be missed*.
Aron says it best — ‘Everything is touchable, and everything is affordable!’ This means that literally every piece of art bursting from the seams of their humble home, from postcards to large installation pieces, is for sale. This includes sculptures, scraffitos, oil paintings, mixed media, collages, and more - Over 3,000 original pieces! After this show, the art will be aimed towards galleries and museums, so this is your last chance to purchase your very own original piece at a generous price. With the Christmas season approaching, what better gift than an original piece of amazing art?
Light refreshments will be provided, and a limited autograph signing by Aron! Aron & Ann will also perform a reading of Mark Twain’s ‘The Diary Of Adam & Eve’, and there will be an unplugged musical appearance by award-winning duo Taylor & Bryn.
Art is bursting from every nook & cranny of this absolutely special place, and we would love to celebrate with you.
Please come and bring anyone else you think would be interested in buying some art. Your contributions will help Aron and Ann with moving expenses and to find a new home after 20 years in their lovely abode.
For purchases, please bring cash with you ($300 minimum recommended). All purchases will be made on the spot—first come, first serve.

Ann Page is a Canadian acting instructor and director, with over seven decades of experience. Inspired by being in a theatrical family, she began her directing career at the age of nine, with her ambitious, self-written work, ‘The Life Of Shakespeare’. On the strength of this production, she was accepted to a boarding school for child actors, and became a reader for the Poetry Society Of London. She worked for years in the UK in various major productions, focusing on dance and voice work, and staging and performing productions of original works. A televised highlight included Ann playing Madea in ‘Madea’, on crutches.
Even when coming over on the boat to Canada from the UK, she directed a production on the ship with the children onboard. Three days after arriving to Canada, she began producing children’s TV projects for the CBC, and began working with the Phoenix Theatre in Montreal. She also established the Studio Theatre Workshop for teaching voice and performance, which she ran for ten years - focusing on the works of Tennesee Williams, Chekov, Pinter and Shakespeare. Many of her students have gone on to great success around the world, including on Broadway. In her fifties, she met her husband, Aron Tager, when she was playing the psychic in ‘Blithe Spirit’, and he played the doctor. Together, they have acted and directed in countless productions.
She has appeared in several films for TV, and is known for her one-woman play ‘No Song, No Supper’, produced at SummerWorks and in London, England.
Anne and Aron are currently finding success doing specialized theatrical ‘chamber’ performances in people’s homes.
