Arm & Upper Body Sculpting

Throughout May we are running a 4 week PURE UPPER BOD SERIES, which is all about upper body strength, tone, and shape.

Our focus will be on arms, shoulders and back.

Why Participate? The upper body can be incredibly tight and may even be rounded through the upper back and shoulders. We consistently demand a lot from our bodies as we move throughout the day - reaching, twisting, carrying, and grabbing for things.

Many people hold stress in their shoulders and upper back causing more sore, tight muscles. Not to mention the fact that we either sit at a computer all day, or we are constantly checking our phones for updates - or both. Yet again asking our upper bodies to hunch forward in a short and rounded fashion.

How To Help? We will counter the rounding with chest opening and expansion exercises. We will work to strengthen the upper back and side body to keep us sitting an standing tall. Expect to tone and strengthen the arms. We will also examine the importance of maintaining quality core strength & body awareness to help us keep a tall and long posture as we move off the machines and back into our day.
