In their joint exhibition, Any Part Can Be a Genesis, Janik and Nezarati take a thought-provoking look at feminist perspectives on art, society and science in this exploration of the feminine experience, juxtaposing a sociological view with a surrealist feminist aesthetic of the grotesque. The artists’ narratives challenge established notions of existence, agency and the world, while proposing that these ideas can also serve as a link to alternative ways of being.
