Alex Pangman and her Alleycats

Proudly known as ‘Canada’s Sweetheart Of Swing’, Alex Pangman’s natural vocal abilities and love for 1920s-40s music have earned her a place in our nation’s heart. She’s not old fashioned, but a vivacious performer in a unique, deliberate reinterpretation of one of America’s most fertile, timeless eras. She’s played Massey Hall, Koerner Hall, opened for Willie Nelson with Bucky & John Pizzarelli, & Jeff Healey. She’s also is the on-air host of Swing Set Saturdays on JAZZFM91 and will be joined by her Alleycats a longtime band of sentimental gentlemen which include John Macleod cornet, Peter Hill piano, Chris Banks bass, and Glenn Anderson Drums. Due to Pangman’s lung transplant, masks are encouraged at this performance.
