Afrochic Festival 2018

AfroChic – the annual community celebration of Afro-Caribbean music, visual art, fashion and culture returns with a two-day celebration on July 14th and 15th in Toronto.

This year, AfroChic is excited to announce headliner, singer, rapper, DJ and activist, DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown aka Ms. Erykah Badu whose legendary, award-winning career spans decades. Badu will join a line-up of noteworthy Toronto artists such as, Shi Wisdom, 11:11, Jayd Ink and more!

Day one of the festival will take place on Saturday July 14th at 6pm at luxe Toronto venue, the Carlu (444 Yonge St). It will include installations by visual artist, Kofi Frempong, live performances, an interactive healing lounge and more. Day two of the festival will take place on Sunday July 15th and will feature an intimate Q&A with Ms. Erykah Badu and special guests at the Globe and Mail Centre (351 King Street East).

Early Bird tickets for the festival go on sale on Wednesday June 6th at 10am and can be purchased for two days or each individual day.
