ADNC Narrative Power Summit
The African Diaspora News Channel ADNC Narrative Power Summit is a one-day, high-impact gathering built to do one thing unapologetically: shift narrative power back into the hands of our communities.
Headlining the Summit is Phillip Scott, Founder & CEO of African Diaspora News Channel (ADNC), a pioneering force in independent Black media and a leading advocate for media literacy, narrative sovereignty, and community accountability.
Under Phillip Scott’s leadership, ADNC has become essential media infrastructure, delivering coverage that challenges distorted narratives and centers truth, context, and community power. His presence anchors the Summit’s core message: Black media isn’t optional, it’s essential.
This landmark marquee event brings together Black media professionals, journalists, artists, activists, policy thinkers, and grassroots organizers from across the African Diaspora who understand one core reality: whoever controls the narrative controls the outcome, politically, economically, and culturally.
Attendees will hear from international keynote speakers from the United States, alongside Toronto-based journalists, cultural leaders, and policy influencers who are actively shaping public discourse. Through dynamic panels, unfiltered conversations, and practical, real-world insights, participants will gain tools to challenge harmful narratives, counter misinformation, and amplify voices that have historically been sidelined.
Beyond the conversations, the Summit is also a full experience. Guests will walk the Black Carpet Media Wall, capture professional photos, enjoy a delicious dinner and curated drinks, live music performance featuring Juno award winning artists, Carlos Morgan and his band, and special guest performances. Guests will also connect directly with the powerhouse ADNC team behind one of the most influential Black-owned media platforms today.
It’s equal parts strategy, celebration, and community, because narrative power should feel as good as it is impactful.
At its core, the ADNC Narrative Power Summit is about building narrative muscle, teaching communities how to consume media critically, produce content strategically, and leverage storytelling as a vehicle for accountability, advocacy, and economic empowerment. This is action. It’s ownership.
