We have invited one of Ottawa's most prominent event organizing groups that also share the same philosophies of great music in a safer dance space, as we do, to take over Wiggle Room for one night. Our dear friends Rick Laplante, Brink, and Tone A, from Ottawa will be treating us to some dirty bouncy house music at it's finest. We are really excited to welcome our old pals at Wiggle Room.

A little about the Rabbits:
Brink got his start in 2012, as a part of the underground electronic scene at Ottawa/Hull’s only afterhours club, BPM. He quickly expanded to other popular night clubs throughout the city and has since played alongside the likes of Arthur Oskan, Groovebox, Pascal Daze, Super Flu, Sharam Jey, Hanne & Lore, Miss Melera, The Wig, Ant Brooks, Roger Sanchez and Nathan Barato, to name just a few. Brink has also played various festivals and events within Ontario and Quebec including appearances at Toronto’s Cherry Beach and Promise Garden Parties. Brink now has residency and is a managing partner with White Rabbit Events (formerly Framework Music), hosting acclaimed events like White Rabbit Saturdays at City At Night, Ottawa's latest home for house, Black Rabbit campout festival, and Sunday Sessions. Brink’s style will lead you on a journey through melodic, experimental house, nu-disco, tech-house and deep-house-goodness that is not to be missed.

RICK LAPLANTE: Born in Ottawa, Canada, Rick Laplante's main musical influences came in the early 90's during his university years in London, ON, due to its proximity to Detroit and Toronto. Frequent weekend visits to those major cities exposed him to some of the most ground-breaking underground sounds heard in the world during the early 90's. Rick has now been professionally DJing for over 30 years.
Rick's preferred club style is anything described as groovy and/or bouncy tech-house, yet he also draws influence from his eclectic music collection. A highly technical mixer, Rick includes flashes of myriad genres when playing house music sets, ranging from techno to disco, breaks to jazz, and from latin to lounge. He hasn't forgotten his musical roots from running the Detroit-Toronto corridor for years, you can always expect the unexpected while Rick blends several different auditory flavours into his Dj sets.
As well as promoting events in Ottawa, Rick has performed at many festivals and top tier events such as Harvest Festival, Playground, Groove & Bass, Cherry Beach, Alien InFlux Kajama cruise, and at notable venues in Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York City, Portland, Hartford, Portsmouth, and many other cities across north eastern North America.

TONE A prides himself in being as versatile as possible within the main genres of Tech house and Techno, with elements of Deep house, for an overall unique sound.
Tone A holds down local residencies for White Rabbit and Sunday Sessions at City At Night, and is a managing partner of White Rabbit Events (formerly Framework Music), and his love for the craft is evident in every set he plays.
His decade+ long DJ career has seen him play alongside such global talent as Claptone, Miss Melera, Hanne & Lore, Pirupa, Paolo Rocco, The Cube Guys, D-Formation, Funkagenda, 2000 and one, Nathan Barato, John Acquaviva, Croatia Squad, Mike Swells, Super Flu, to name but a few.

Our team and event hosts such as Takin, Lindsay Fay, Nour Bawab, Christina Barron, Tyler Hill, Mitch (lead security), Tanya, Teala, and Sean Star, are all available.
