"A Taste of Jamaica" is the gala launch event for the Cry for the Children Foundation, a Toronto-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to aiding children and families living in poverty in Jamaica. The event features Jamaican cuisine, drinks, raffle prizes, African drumming, dancing, live DJ and a performance by Juno-nominated reggae artist Jah Beng. All of this takes place on Sunday, September 5th at Daniels Spectrum, with doors opening at 6 pm.
